Day Training in Baltimore
The best option for busy folks with complicated dogs!
Could day training be the answer?
If youβre concerned that your busy schedule is going to impede your dogβs training progress, then the Day Training is the solution! This program allows me, your dog trainer, to do the daily dog training work for you.
Hereβs how day training works:
Virtual consultation - Iβll gather all the information I need to develop your dogβs customized training plan.
Lessons with your dog - Iβll come to your home to do 4 lessons per week. During each lesson, Iβll work with your dog one-on-one. Afterwards, Iβll send you an email summary of what we did and how it went.
Lessons with you - At the conclusion of day training, weβll do a lesson with you & other human members of the household to learn how to maintain and build upon what your dog learned with me. Weβll also do a follow up lesson 2 weeks later.
Daily support - Between lessons youβll have access to me daily (M-F) to ask questions, share videos, etc.
Day Training is for anyone who wants to jump start their dogβs training progress!
Let me help you!
There are two Day Training options:
2-week package: $1,350
This training package includes:
Virtual consultation. An in-depth conversation to learn about your goals, your dog, and your situation. This information is then used to create a customized training plan.
8 lessons with your dog. Iβll work one-on-one with your dog to teach, practice & pattern the skills they need to reach your goals.
2 lessons with your dog and you (βhousehold lessonsβ). Iβll coach you and any other human members of your household on how to implement & build upon the skills your dog has learned during their time with me.
Daily support. After our first lesson together, youβll have access to me daily (M-F) between lessons. You can share videos, ask questions, and seek support. Youβre not βon your ownβ as you implement what youβve learned for the first time!
Schedule of lessons: Each week Iβll do 4 lessons with your dog, for a total of 8 lessons across two calendar weeks. At the end of those 8 lessons, weβll do our first βhousehold lessonβ with you and other members of the household. Two weeks after that, weβll do a follow up household lesson.
Who is this for? This package is appropriate for anyone who wants to jump start their dogβs training progress, especially dogs with complicated issues that require more in-person trainer time; anyone who is worried they wonβt have enough time for training; or anyone with a new dog or puppy. This package can also be combined with a private lesson package for a comprehensive behavior modification program.
4-week package: $2,550
This day training package includes:
Virtual consultation. An in-depth conversation to learn about your goals, your dog, and your situation. This information is then used to create a customized training plan.
16 lessons with your dog. Iβll work one-on-one with your dog to teach, practice & pattern the skills they need to reach your goals.
3 lessons with your dog and you (βhousehold lessonsβ).
Schedule of lessons: Each week Iβll do 4 lessons with your dog, for a total of 16 lessons across four calendar weeks. After two weeks, weβll do our first βhousehold lessonβ with you and other members of the household. Weβll do our second household lesson two weeks later (after my last one-on-one lesson with your dog), and a follow up lesson two weeks after that.
Who is this for? A lot can be accomplished in this time period! This package would serve as a thorough training introduction for a new dog or puppy; a max-effort jump start for dogs with more significant behavior issues; or a reasonable substitute for dog parents who arenβt able to work with their dog daily.
Intensive FAQs
-
No, the shortest option is two weeks because Iβve found that one week of training isnβt enough to make meaningful progress.
-
All lessons take place at your home. Depending on your goals, I may also walk your dog around your neighborhood or go to a local park during our time together.
-
No. Quality dog trainingβaka training and behavior modification that does not come at the expense of your dogβs well beingβtakes time.
That said, if you are currently really frustrated and/or worried about your dogβs behavior, 2 weeks with me will feel like a huge step in the right direction!
If you want to make the most progress you possibly can, the 4 week program is your better option.

You will not be involved in my one-on-one lessons with your dog; in fact, you donβt even have to be home! HOWEVER, you absolutely must be present for and participate in the household lessons. If I don't teach you how to implement and maintain what your dog has learned during our one-on-one lessons, then everything I've done with your dog will go right out the window! Dog training ALWAYS involves the humans, too.

Yes! This program can be combined with my private lesson programs to provide more guidance, support, coaching and learning for the humans of the family. Please ask about that when you inquire.

I cannot offer a payment plan for the 2-week day training package, but there is a payment plan option for the 4-week package (65% due at start, remaining 35% due by the end of week 2). Day Training requires a big time commitment from me right from the start and I can only take on so many day training clients at once, which is why I cannot offer more flexible payment options for this service. Thank you for understanding!
-
I offer a sliding scale for my other programs (private training) but I typically donβt offer a sliding scale for day training. The only time I can offer a sliding scale for day training is if itβs behaviorally necessary.
